Hewlett- Packard started in 1938 with a Prototype oscillator that was used in the years to come to design, produce and maintain telephones, stereos, radios and other audio equipment. In 1980 after building their first calculators and cameras, they built their first computer. It was considerately smaller than other computers that other companies had built. It was portable for people who wanted to travel with it. In 1982 they built their second computer which was more calculator than computer. As they gained more knowledge, to make their computers better they had to make the computer bigger. In 1983 the computer looked much larger than before, but it was more successful as the need for computers went up. After 1983 their computers ran quicker and better even as the size continued to shrink.

  2. Good information, but It was a little confusing on how they shrunk the computers over time.
